I ordered sweets from Haldiram through Swiggy and updated my contact number by specifically raising the issue with Swiggy to call on the updated number to which they agreed. After some time, I got a message that my delivery partner cannot contact me so I called him and guided him about how to reach the location. After that I got a message that my order has been cancelled and that I have to pay full amount which was paid in advance as fine. When I raised the concern, they told me that their delivery partner and team tried to contact me but I was not available but they called me on wrong number on the basis of which they fined me and didn’t deliver my order. My delivery partner was 2 houses away from my home and denied the order coz they called me on wrong number by mistake. They denied me delivery just before the party that too on my birthday, ruining my day with their carelessness. I want stringent action to be taken against them for creating this nuisance and for deducting half of my amount as fine.
