Sir/madam,
My name is Mr. Shailesh Sanghvi. This is regarding International Roaming activation on my Vodafone mobile number 9821073800.
I had activated my international roaming pack effective on 06/10/2018 to start from 07/10/2018.However I later realized that I would be reaching Europe only on 8/10/2018 & hence called Vodafone to cancel my activation for 7/10/2018 & move it to 8/10/2018 at Rs 500 per day. He confirmed that he would do so.
On Monday 8/10/18 to be double sure I activated the same on the App also.
To my surprise when I saw the unbilled amount on 10th Oct 18 it showed an amount of Rs 9000 +. I then chatted with Mr/Ms Summan on the Vodafone app & was told to my surprise that the i-roam pack is not activated and hence the bill amounted to Rs. 15000/-. I also asked if my phone would be disconnected & was told that it would not be. However to my shock the next day I was forced to pay immediately as Vodafone had stopped my phone services.
After coming back to India I again called up Vodafone customer care to complain about the whole incident, where I was told that I had not asked to activate the International roaming package. I demanded to hear the telecon recording of me with the customer care where I had the conversation to activate the i-Roam package but I was told that they will not be able to provide me the recording.
I would like you to further investigate the matter and get the wrongly billed roaming charges credited to my account.
