I purchased Nokia 6.1 plus from flipkart in mid of October, there is big software bug in this mobile which Airtel internet is not working.i have tried with almost 10 . different Airtel Sims but no use. The same Sims which are not working in this mobile are working fine in other mobiles. I visited Nokia care few days back they suggested me to check with Airtel care.
I went to Airtel care, they tried multiple settings in mobile but nothing worked. I wasted my time until now.
Now these days internet is must in daily life. I am not able to book any cab due to this issue and missed my train by manually checking for the auto and cab.
I am not sure how Nokia released this handset to market with out doing proper testing.
I need my refund back can’t trust Nokia again.

Similar issues are being faced with my unit. I have tried Airtel prepaid and postpaid as well on Nokia 6.1 Plus, even in multiple circles, but internet connectivity always fails. The device never connects to 4G band. It stays at 3G, and even there the ‘Mobile network state’ stays at ‘Connecting’. I can make and receive calls, but cannot access internet. The unit itself can connect properly with other networks like Vodafone and Jio. I have tried contacting Airtel and reached out to their store, but they don’t seem to have any clue to why this behavior is present.
I am facing same issue both airtel and nokia blaming each other but no one try to resolve issue. If you call customer care both team customer support does not want to listen the actual issue. if you call 100 times they says same steps to do that not working form first.
So say no to nokia or airtel at least one .
Guys, temporary solution.
I had the same problem. I started using VPN. It is working fine now. Just add airtelgprs.com APN and turn on VPN.
I suggest hotspot shield and turboVPN.

My airtel sim internet very slow in nokia 6.1 plus .network signal reception also very weak. But same airtel sim working superbly in my asus mobile. Please help me anyone my mail id moraprasad505@gmail.com my no 8686578229
