I placed an order on Swiggy Instamart on 25th May at 2 pm for groceries and paid Rs.316 via Google Pay (screenshot attached). After a while when I went to check the order, it did not show up on my order history at which point I contacted customer service via chat. At this point, an agent named Sameer told me that the order had failed and that I will get a refund of Rs.316 in 2 hours (screenshot of chat attached). He asked me place a new order (screenshot attached), which at I did. I placed the same order at 2:41 pm and again paid Rs.316 (screenshot attached) via Google Pay. This order was delivered.
However, after 2 hours I still didn’t get my refund of Rs.316 for the 2 pm order that had failed. I contacted customer service again and Lakshay told me that someone will contact me within 24-48 hours, which hasn’t happened either.
I have since emailed them multiple times and also shared my bank statements that show the amount being deducted from my account. They open new tickets and close it without any resolution or response.
I have all screenshots of having paid Rs.316 to Swiggy twice.
