Text of Complaint by Amar Sanghavi:

My vodafone no.- 9769722936, postpaid plan monthly rental-299.

I am trying to contact the customer care of Vodafone but nobody receives the call or it’s directly cut. I was always informed that a back end call will be arranged but that never happened. I am more than tortured by their executives because 4-5 months ago, there was just a one day delay in payment for which I was charged INR 50 as late fees which I disagreed to pay. I had a word with the customer care and they assured me that it would be waived off. However, it was not waived off by Vodafone.

During the months of April-May 2020, I tried communicating a couple of times for this issue to which I was informed that due to the lockdown, they cannot do anything so just ignore the excess and pay my normal bill. I am a loyal Vodafone customer since ages and even till date, I have paid my monthly postpaid rental. Despite of this, just due to non payment of unnecessary late fees, my outgoing has been blocked past 15-20 days. And now, they have blocked my incoming calls too, and my sim is inactive. This is huge level of torture amid the coronavirus pandemic. In such a situation also, they are harassing me and also expect me to pay without any major fault on my end.

To add on to this pathetic service, I also mailed them and tried calling innumerable times everyday and they have only been cutting my calls. How is this a dispute resolution? When there is an issue, you talk and sort out the matter whether on call or on mail. But clearly, they just want to fool their valuable customers which is why they’re losing out on so many!

Would I run away if I paid the bill just a day late, and also paid my principal amount till date without any issue? Why should I pay my current cycle when I am not able to use the services any which way?

I request you to help me out and provide me with a firm solution as Vodafone is nothing less than useless. Mainly it’s executives who cannot deal with customer issues.
