Text of Complaint by Swapnil Ladkhedkar:

I have applied for Airtel Broadband connection on 5th July and I was asked to make payment on the link provided (link received through SMS), so that connection installed immediatly by evening. Accordingly I made the payment of Rs.2828/- at about 11 AM on even date. The details are as under –

APPLICATION NO. is 07127191811 and
Order Reference No. : 1-BZ0OCRV (against this reference, payment is made for 3 months – and it is learnt that the countdown for 90 days has alredy started as soon as I made payment – I already lost 3 days of my total plan)

I am trying to call the concerned personnel – Mr.Himanshu Shende, probably a Territory Manager, but not getting proper response. In fact I called him several times but even didnt pick the call (I have a screenshot of call-logs : if required I can send it )

Connection is still not installed till now (7th July 12 Noon) neither I’ve got any repsponse from them. Upon calling several times I am getting response, “ho jayega, 4 baje kar deta hu, meeting chal rahi hai, raat ko try karte hai, kal pakka ho jaaega. Etc.”. This problem I’ve informed (e-mail) to their Nodal Officer (West – for Maharashtra) at notal.west@in.airtel.com – but this so called corporate person even didnt bother to acknowledge the mail – when airtel claim to provide support/service 24×7.

If this is the service I am getting even after paying and the connection still not done, then I wonder if I have some problems in future, how will be the response of Airtel !!! I am working from home (a new job) and I face lot of embarrassment today in dealing my boss – just because of this.

I am sorry to say I am totally unsatisfied with Airtel Broadband Service. I think I should get refund of the deposited amount.

PS : I have mailed to Airtel Nodal Officer through differnt email address from mentioned in this complaint (s*********7@gmail.com) If reuired I can convey that also – not giving here as per your CAUTION
