I newly purchased Daikin AC on April 13, and subsequently installed on April 15. 2023. By the end of May, the outdoor unit started developing issues with sudden fluctuation of compressor speed along with strange clattering noise. I raised a complaint with Daikin Customer Support team and they engaged a technician to visit and examine the unit. The technician arrived and examined the unit 2 days later and mentioned that the external unit’s fan is faulty and needs to be replaced. I agreed to the fan being replaced and it was replaced a week later. Upon replacing the fan, the issue was NOT resolved and the technician mentioned that now the compressor may be at fault and said he would discuss the case with his seniors. Post this, there was no response from the technicians.
With no other option, I once again raised a complaint with customer support, and to my shock, they mentioned that the previous complaint was resolved, to which I disagreed to. This time they again arranged for another technician. The new technician once again inspected and mentioned that they would now need to repair or replace the compressor, to which I have declined and demanded a replacement of outdoor unit. Post this, it’s been almost 20 days and I am still following up with various people for a solution. And now as a last resort, I am considering taking up this case legally in the consumer courts.Image Uploaded by Prithvi:
