I got a new connection last December, the set-top box is not working properly. Some channels are not in full screen and picture clarity is also not good for few channels. It is confirmed that its not a TV issue by using old set-top box.
I have a raised a complaint to Tatasky customer care, technician visited and confirmed that there is an issue with set-top and also mentioned similar issues observed for other customers as well with this type of new HD set-top box, he left that he will inform his management. There is no further update from tatasky for two weeks and suddenly ticket got cancelled without my knowledge.
when i called customer care to know ticket status, they responded that its cancelled with comment as “customer requested to close as issue resolved”. I explained the situation and requested to reopen the ticket as issue not resolved. But, customer care guy said its not possible to reopen any ticket (where it can be closed without customers knowledge who raised it), told me that he can only raise a new ticket and its raised.
Another technician visited for this new ticket and confirmed there is some issue after changing multiple settings in set-top box and finally he said he will take the box for repair.
After some days, i got a message the new ticket also cancelled.
Again, i called customer care and asked for status, they responded that it closed as “customer requested to close as issue resolved”. But, this time the fun part is box is with them and not returned back yet to me and ticket closed as issue resolved. I dont know why there is a customer care for tatasky and what these service centers are doing.
Now, i dont have set-top box, its taken by technician for repair but no open ticket to track it.
