It’s been less than 1 month since I bought Hitachi 1 ton split AC ( sr no EAFG312HEDO) manufactured by johnson controls – Hitachi air conditioning Ltd, hitachi complex, karannagar, kadi, Dist. Mehsana and it started malfunctioning. The technician called it a gas leak and took 2000 INR to refill. Installation was up to the mark everything with the unit was fine then how can a gas leak happen in a New Ac unit. Who is liable to pay the additional gas filling cost? Hitachi doesn’t even cover this in their warranty. I Hope Hitachi comes forward to resolve this issue and pay the adequate cost incurred.
