I gave my IELTS General test on 25th Jun 2016. I was expecting my results on 8th Jul 2016, instead of that received an email mentioning delay in my exam results.
Looking through several blogs and forums, I came to know that this has happened frequently with IELTS tests. If this is a routine task that IELTS performs on results, then atleast they should make this check transparent and let test-taker know the process and stage in which his/her result is.
It is highly disappointing to face this unexpected delay, knowing the fact that most people have their future plans all dependent on it. IELTS should consider enhancing test takers experience by atleast keeping them informed on actual status of result.
