There is an employee working at Nakshatra Marriage who sent me an image and biodata of a girl, but there was no contact number provided. The image appeared to be generated by artificial intelligence, which made me suspicious. The employee then requested my details to forward them to the girl’s family.

Later on, the employee called me and informed me that the girl’s family was interested in me and my biodata. They asked me to pay an initial registration fee of Rs. 6000 (paid on 05th April 2023) to initiate communication with the family. They emphasized that the girl had already made her payment, so it was essential for me to do the same promptly. They mentioned that half of the registration fee would be refunded if I got married through their bureau, and I would receive free access to their database.

After some time, the employee called again, claiming that their manager was on a conference call with the girl I liked. They offered me a special deal: if I paid an additional Rs. 4000, I would receive a full refund of the initial Rs. 6000 and the extra Rs. 4000 if I met the girl in person. The girl on the conference call agreed to this without hesitation, and I, unfortunately, fell for their scheme.

Once the payment was made, the employee provided me with a phone number for the girl, which turned out to be fake. She never responded to any texts or calls, except for one call at an odd hour. When I tried calling her back multiple times, she did not answer or reply to my messages.

When I asked for a refund, the manager insisted that I needed to meet the girl by any means.

I seek your assistance in taking appropriate action against Nakshatra Marriage.
