Text of Complaint by Elena:

I received a WhatsApp message from Alisha Kumar who claimed to be an HR assistant with Mphasis Agency (Digital Marketing company). Offered a work from option to subscribe to YouTube channels and get paid 50 per subscription. First she offered 3 subscriptions at a payout of 150. Assuming it’s just YouTube subscriptions, I followed through and got paid for it. Then she assigned a Receptionist with the name Shivanya for guidance and payouts. She added me to a group where they posted subscriptions to subscribe to get payouts. And then they posted Merchant tasks for bigger payouts and I tried at first with 2000 for a payout of 2800. Which they paid. Then they pressured for 10000 and added me to another group with multiple members. I asked for a 5000 option, but she said the starting is 10000. Assuming the payouts are immediate. I agreed. Then they added me to another group stating it’s a group assignment and it’s a prerequisite requirement to complete the group tasks to receive my initial investment and commission. So I reluctantly agreed. And was asked to pay 35000. Once complete. They say there’s a 3rd task which has to be completed to receive the group payout. The starting option was at 68000. I immediately informed the receptionist and the teacher that I don’t have anymore funds to invest further. They simply say it’s a requirement for the group to complete the task to receive the payout. When I contacted the group members individually. 3 of them didn’t even respond. The one that did, started blaming me, saying his money is stuck now because of me. That’s when it dawned on me that I have been scammed. I googled for the companies reviews and stumbled upon the consumer complaints and knew for sure I’ve been scammed.
