I bought ” Acer Predator Neo (2023) Core i7 13th Gen 13700HX – (16 GB/1 TB SSD/Windows 11 Home/6 GB Graphics/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050) PHN16-71-757P Gaming Laptop ” on October 7, 2023. After 3 months of use from january laat week it started having trouble with the charging so i contacted acer customer support they told me to perform some steps but the issue wasn’t fixed. They sent an engineer to check my laptop and after checking the charger and laptop he told me that motherboard is the issue and it will be replaced. He also gave me contact number to connect with the service center and ask about any query regarding the replacement that will be provided. When i contacted them they told me the replacement part can be new or refurbished. My laptop is pretty new and to be very honest it is expensive too. Getting a refurbished part for a laptop this new is not justified for me. I even asked the store if they can only replace the DC adapter but they told me it won’t happen and motherboard will be replaced in the same case too.

My laptop was diagnosed by their engineer on 2nd feb 2024. And my replacement haven’t come yet. I tried to complain about this on twitter and they took my contact details laptops serial number and told me they will escalate the issue. I asked them to take the laptop back and give me full return, I was told that they read all my text and think its a hassle from my side and not them. Seriously how this can be a problem from my side when you done have the replacement part but you have motherboards to put in 500 new laptops. I have not been able to use my laptop for almost a month now. I just want my refund I don’t care about the new motherboard replacement. It’s your fault acer that you are not able to provide customer service make it more unbearable if your device is on warranty. Also for anyone reading this DONOT BUY ANY GAMING LAPTOP FROM ACER SPECIALLY EXPENSIVE ONE.
