Two Postpaid mobile connection under Airtel Thanks program was given to me on 06 Feb 2019 , out of which one mobile connection was free add -on mobile connection.
As per Airtel Thanks program, monthly billing was to be issued against only one mobile connection. I was getting bill of Rs.765-790 per month against one mobile connection till Aug 2019.
But after Aug 2019 Airtel changed my plan without my consent and started issuing bill against both the mobile connection every month.
This was protested by me through calls as well as online complaint made through Voxya Consumer Voice in Sept 2019, After that one of the rep from Airtel approached my husband and informed that the matter has been solved and monthly bill as per Airtel Thanks will be issued against one mobile connection i.e. Mobile No.9205318350.
But again the billing against another mobile connection 9870555563 is being issued by Airtel despite the fact the this connection is not being used either by me or my husband since long.
This practice being done by Airtel is just an harassment to the user. I hereby ask that Airtel should refund me the excess charges paid by me so far and streamline its billing system retrospectively as I will repeat I will not be paying any illegitimate dues for the same.Image Uploaded by Ankita Das:
