Warning: Possible Scam – Hampbella.in
Please be careful with the website/page Hampbella.in. They claim to sell an iPhone 17 Pro Max for only ₹3,500, which appears highly suspicious. Do not trust such offers without proper verification.
Someone claiming to be from their Instagram page called me and said that my GST verification and other procedures were completed. Then they asked me to pay ₹1,580, promising that the money would be refunded within two or three minutes.
After I made the payment, they gave me a WhatsApp number and sent payment QR codes privately. They then called again and asked me to pay ₹20,000 for phone insurance, promising that everything would be refunded.
Whenever I asked for my refund, they kept asking for more money. First they asked for ₹20,000, then ₹10,000, and continued demanding additional payments. In total, they allegedly collected around ₹50,000 from me.
The person involved reportedly identified himself as Dayanshakar. When I repeatedly requested my refund, I was given different excuses, including claims about a company merchant account, credit card value, GST verification, and order cancellation charges.
They repeatedly promised that the refund would be processed “tomorrow” or within a certain number of hours, but then contacted me again asking for more money. When I said I did not have any more cash, they even suggested borrowing money from friends or family.
Later, they claimed that the order was cancelled and asked me to pay an additional ₹3,250 for the cancellation process. When I asked about my refund again, they said it would take 72 hours.
I strongly advise everyone to be extremely careful and not send money based on such promises. If you believe you have been scammed, save all screenshots, payment receipts, phone numbers, WhatsApp chats, and call details, and report the matter to the appropriate cybercrime authorities.but hee not refund my money 50k 😡
