I purchased a laptop from Nehru Place on 18/2/23 and made a payment using my PNB account through paytm UPI. The money got deducted but was not received by the merchant. So, I raised the concern to bank to reverse my amount. for more than a month I was following up with the bank and finally it was found out that the money was neither received by the merchant nor it was a miss on bank’s end. The money got deducted due to paytm’s fault. So in April starting, I had to call to paytm customer care for the same. They provided me with a ticket ID – 3285436341 and on 9/4/23, they messaged me within the app that the money reverse request has been raised and the amount of 13,500 will be credited to my bank account within 2 bank working days. Since that day, I have not heard back from paytm. I called after 9 April, customer care said that they are working on my request only. I have not got the amount reversed till date. Due to so much of mental torture, now I want compensation along with my original amount of 13,500. Paytm’s reply I have attached herewith. I am a single parent and it is a huge amount for me. Please provide me with the resolution or else I have to approach the court for the same. I am fed up of calling here and there.
