Subject: Complaint Regarding Incomplete Refund for Cancelled Flight by airlines! Booking (PNR: UVE38T)
Dear Paytm Customer Care,
I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Ashish Vishwakarma, and I am writing to bring to your attention a significant issue I have encountered with my recent flight booking through Paytm.
On [Date], I booked a flight for 5 family members with the PNR UVE38T, for a total amount of Rs 14,140. Unfortunately, the flight was canceled by the airline (Indigo) due to reasons beyond our control. Upon contacting Indigo Airlines, I was informed that a full refund was processed by them, and the fault was acknowledged to be at the airline’s end.
However, to my dismay, Paytm has only refunded me Rs 5,590, deducting even the airline cancellation charges. I believe this is unjust, as the cancellation was not a result of any action or decision on my part but was solely due to circumstances beyond my control.
I kindly request Paytm to review my case and refund the complete amount of Rs 14,140, as it was the airline’s cancellation and not a decision made by me. I find it unfair to bear the cost of cancellation charges for a circumstance that was entirely out of my hands.
I have attached the necessary documents, including the communication with Indigo Airlines, verifying the cancellation and the full refund processed by them.
I trust that Paytm values its customers and is committed to providing fair and just resolutions. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and request that you rectify the refund discrepancy at the earliest convenience.
If necessary, I am willing to provide any additional information or documentation to assist in the resolution of this matter.
