Text of Complaint by Jasmine Olivares:

There are three separate incidents in this report.

1. MOCAMOCA not only harvested my phone contact list but also sold my contact information to similar lending applications I have never applied and registered in, spamming my phone with scam and phishing messages and calls. After a 1-day late payment due to the recent holiday (New Year), they harassed my contacts and me with persistent calls, and after answering, their agent proceeded to antagonize and display untoward behaviour.

2. Their application states that they allow up to 180 days of payment with a maximum of 3 payments. But what happens is that the first loan payment is scheduled immediately after 6 days from the initial loaning period with high interests that, more often than not, doubles your entire payment.

* My loan amount was 2,800 pesos, at the end of 12 days in total, it had skyrocketed to 4,099.2 which is divided into 2 payments (2,049.6)*

3. I Initially availed a loan amount of 4,000 pesos, but due to their long verification list, settled for the alternative of 2,800 that they offered. Afterwards, my loan amount was not edited and they still charged me with the full 4,000. After talking to a customer support agent, they failed to provide me with a list of the initial loan amount with the full payment plan and details, as it is not available any more after the loan is credited to an account. Only the repayment is shown afterwards without the basis for the extra charges.
