I took a Rs 9800/- zip loan but could not make the payment on time because I lost my job. On 23rd August 2023, I received multiple threatening calls from the collection/recovery team.
I requested that I pay the due amount in 10 days as I am facing financial issues, but they did not listen, they simply abused me, and after some time they called my mother ( 85 years old) and used abusive language to her and my sister. Then they called my relatives and did the same thing. I don’t know how they hacked my contact list. Moreover, it’s a crime that Mobikwik has done by hiring these types of people, who don’t give respect to old people and ladies.
My mother is a heart patient. She is now in the hospital. If something goes wrong, I will not abandon anyone. I am now traveling to home for my mother health while at the same time drafting this message.
And one more thing: how did the collection/recovery team get my phone’s contact list? Maybe they have hacked my phone. If they did, then it was illegal. I can file a case against Mobikwik for this crime.
At last, during the collection, one of the members told me to pay Rs 5000, then they would provide me with an NOC and stop calling. Then I borrowed from my colleague and made the payment. But they did not send me the NOC. I will attach the WhatsApp chat during payment.
