Mobikwik once charged me with multiple unauthorized transactions on my account and generated a bill for me to pay. When I reached out to them, they acknowledged it was a known issue at their end and that they will fix it. They did fix the issue and refunded me the amount they deducted for the unauthorized transactions before the due date of the bill. So, before the due date, all my bill was already paid for and no dues were left. But they still charged me with a penalty of Rs 1052. I tried reaching out to them on the app but got no response. I couldn’t call them as I was traveling internationally at the time. So, I paid the penalty as otherwise, it would have cascaded. When I returned, I reached out to their customer care and they assured me that I will get the penalty waived off in my next bill cycle.
When the next bill cycle came, I again reached out to them, but their team denied saying they don’t waive off penalty and they keep on hanging up on me without any resolution.
They are charging me with more penalties each passing day. Their representative has been calling me and harassing me to pay the penalty without hearing my side. I have been getting messages from mobikwik team that they will start calling my known people if I don’t pay.
