Mismatch Description Product received – Description of Same product is different on sale Invoice & on Flipkart app/website.

This is to bring it to your notice that I have purchased the LG refrigerator from flipkart. At a time of purchase, specification mentioned on FK app/Web was product is 5 star so I placed the order and Invoice also shows 5 star product (Invoice copy attached) but when actual product delivered at my home, it is observed that the product is 2 star.

Product delivered on 27th Sept 22. LG Technician Mr. Jagdishbhai from Kushan Electronics, Gandhinagar, Gujarat has visited my house for unboxing the product and installation and demo. During his visit it is observed that as per Invoice product should be 5 star but actual delivered product is 2 star.

Accordingly on 27th Sept, return request raised with the installation report given by LG Technician mentioning the fact of product mismatch as per invoice and actual product. I am still waiting for resolution.

I am attaching the few artifacts which are self explanatory to prove that there is mismatch in product ordered and product delivered.

1) photos of product from all the side and each and every stickers pasted on product .

Since 27th Sept 2022, I am following up with FK support team for resolution by picking the product back from my residence but still no proper resolution provided. Infect once they have rejected my return request without giving any denial reason. I had to call customer care again and new return request was raised through FK support executive who has confirmed that your request is very much eligible for return.

Summary:

Order for 5 star product, delivered box opened by authorized Technician only and observed seller delivered 2 star product. Shared photo of each and every event and photo of product along with packing material with flipkar support team but resolution awaited.

However, FK rejected the return request once, it is completely unethical and against the Buyer Protection Programme. Is it customers fault that the seller delivered wrong specifications product so to accept incorrect product by buyer?

Hence, I request your good self to intervene in this matter and help to get my issue resolved by taking wrong delivered product back from my house and refund the amount paid for the product.

I am very small person and 32340 Rs is very big amount for me. Delay in resolution by flipkart team put us me and my family under mental stress.

I am attaching very important two documents which will certainly help you in investigating or reviewing the concern raised by me for mismatch of description of product on website.

Description of Same product/same model is different on sale Invoice & on Flipkart app/website.

1) Copy of Sale Invoice which shows the item description as “LG 340 L Frost Free Double Door 5 Star Convertible Refrigerator” of the same product.
2) Screen shot/image of flipKart website taken on 13-10-2022 showing the item description as “LG 340 L Frost Free Double Door 2 Star Convertible Refrigerator” of the same product.

This two documents clearly indicates that there was some issue related to the product description on FK app/website which is corrected later on and correct description is updated and product is tagged as 2 star now.

1) According to Sale Invoice, product description is 5 star because at the time of sale, the specification mentioned on FK App/website was 5 star so the same is captured in the Invoice as well as the order confirmation mail received from Flipkart Team.
2) According to the flipkart website & image of product I have already shared with FK, It is confirmed that the product the Product is 2 Star only. There is no ambiguity in the same.

Hence, it is very much clear that the actual product is 2 star but specification mentioned on FK app/web at the time of order placed was 5 star.

One more aspect was observed on FK app during BBD, 2 start refrigerator of 360L was available at Rs 29700/- where as the refrigerator 340L order by me was at Rs 32340/- and the premium price was just because of its higher energy star ratting.

We failed to understand the parameter of flipkart for return/replacement here in this case as Sale Invoice clearly shows the product description as 5 star, photo of physical product shows it 2 start and now flipkart app/web itself shows the product is 2 star.

In spite of all these available info on FK web/app and photos shared, then also my return request was rejected 2 times. It is very hard to understand your approach on return/replacement policy.

In view of the above scenario and facts shared, Request you to review the same being a neutral agency or bridge between buyer and seller.

It’s my humble request to extend your support in getting justice from the Flipkart team please.
