I purchased an LG 9 kg AI Direct Drive Front Load Washing Machine from Flipkart (Order ID: OD435539165062401100).
The product delivered does not match the specifications mentioned on Flipkart’s product page — including spin speed (RPM). The images in the listing shows 1400 RPM but the delivered product has maximum 1200 RPM. This clearly amounts to misleading advertisement and deficiency in service.
Despite providing clear photographic proof, Flipkart has rejected my return request multiple times with the same generic response:
“Sorry, the seller will not be able to fulfil your return request. In case you need any product related assistance, please contact the brand.”
This is not a brand issue, but a misrepresentation by Flipkart and the seller. I have also raised this issue with the National Consumer Helpline, but Flipkart has not resolved it yet.
I am seeking a full refund of ₹25,000 and compensation of ₹2,50,000 for the mental stress and inconvenience caused.
