Text of Complaint by Tanushree Basu:

I  ordered a mobile phone ( Samsung Galaxy ON 6 : Order No. OD113448595117188000) from Flipkart through their no cost EMI scheme. On placing the final order, complete payment of 9478 was deducted from my credit card.

On enquiring about the same from flipkart costumer care executive I was informed that the bank has deducted the complete amount and now after seven days the respective bank will start paying the EMI’s to the flipkart on my behalf.

My question is if the total amount is deducted at once from the costumer then what is the EMI scheme about.

This is a shear misleading for the costumer as according to the advertisement in television the costumer does not have to pay the whole amount at once, but at an EMI at no extra charges. However in reality they are deducting the complete amount at once from the consumer.
