I WAS USING FASTWAY CABLE SERVICES EARLIER WHICH COSTED ME Rs 350/- per month. A SALES EXECUTIVE FROM TATA SKY CAME TO MY OFFICE AND INSISTED ME TO USE TATA SKY SERVICES. HE CONVINCED ME BY SAYING THAT THE TATA SKY "HINDI BASIC PLAN " WOULD COST AROUND 300/- (net amount) per month & that too HD. WE HESITATED IN PAYING HIM BUT HE CONVINCED US BY CALLING ON TATA SKY CUSTOMER CARE. THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE ASSURED ME THAT THIS PERSON IS A GENUINE AUTHORISED TATA SKY SALES EXECUTIVE AND I CAN BELIEVE HIS WORDS AND BUY FROM HIM. ONCE ASSURED FROM CUSTOMER CARE,I PAID Rs 2250/- (by PAYTM Transfr) which included PRODUCT COST,INSTALLATION & 500/- AS RECHARGE AMOUNT IN THE TATA SKY ACCOUNT. AFTER INSTALLATION (on 01-09-2019), i get to know that the monthly charges are around 500/-, which include the mandatory NETWORK FEE of Rs. 175/- (approx). We were not informed about the network fee charges earlier at the time of sale, This is pure misguidance by a company salesperson just for the sake of completing sales targets. I had called on the Tata Sky customer care on 02-09-2019 and requested them to withdraw the services and cancel my subscription. They are not refunding me the amount i paid to them. They are just willing to refund the account balance. The product hardware is of no use to me and i would have never bought Tata Sky , had i known the exact charges it would cost me monthly.
