I placed an order of Hyderabadi chicken Dum Briyani at VISAKHA MILITARY HOTEL through IRCTC e-catering. The food was deliverd on time and the right amount was collected. The train had a 20 min halt at the statiom by when I have stared to eat. However, just before the train started to move the delivery person came back in a hurry calling me and asked me to open the ecatering app. I asked if he wanted the OTP but he did not respond. I was confused by this behaviour but gave him the phone sensing his urgency. Just as he got hold of my phone he clicked on my account, pretended to add the delivery time, but instead added 5 stars for the service and ran off. His action was clearly intentional.
This is a serious breach of my personal space and my voice of opinion. I feel really bad because I have been cheated and my right to voice out my opnion has been violated. I don’t know for how many people they have did the same before and for how many they may continue this in the future. I called the IRCTC ecatering helpline, but was shocked to hear that the number doesn’t exist. I request you to take immediate action in this regard.
I demand the false review be removed from the account as I don’t want to be a false advertiser of an dishonest service.
There is no option in the ecatering website or app to edit/delete the review. I request for these features to be added in the future updates.
