first it was a jio fibre pole and now airtel has installed their wifi pole. first jio told us that the pole cant be removed because there is a fibre connection on it. but when i explained them that there is no wire on pole they told me to wait and that they are working on it. its been 5 months since then. now they are telling me that removal of pole couldve been easier if there was a wire going through pole.
now with airtel ive called them countless times too and i even confronted the guy who installs pole but he simply refuses to remove it. first he tells me that its not under his jurisdiction. when i called his senior he clearly told him to remove it but he refused.
the point to be noted that theres high tension electrical wires going through just right above these two mentioned poles and theres an history of these hi tension wires breaking down and causing shock and burns to an individual living in our neighbour. there was also an incident some months ago where hi- tension wires broke and fell off due to earthing caused by strong winds and loose wirings.
even after telling this statement to them they still are not willing to take any action. the unsincerety shown by these companies was not expected by me as they are both leading fibre companies in india. maybe these companies just dont care about anyones safety.
