I have been a star customer of flipkart for more than 6 years and during this long time, I have purchased lots of things from flipkart as well as furniture on the basis of best durability and quality assurance provided by flipkart. Like my previous experience with flipkart, I have bought a product on Great Indian Freedom Sale because my son and daughter’s birthday was in Sep-2022 but this time I have not only bought the worst product as well as bought a big problem from flipkart.
Now I have been harassed by the flipkart team very badly on the above purchase. The detailed recorded chronology is as follows to understand the issue and take immediate attention and solution:
1. I have purchased a WESTIDO Leatherette 5 Seater Sofa (order ID: OD225743804983516000) on 15th Aug 2022 having return and refund policy.
2. I have been delivered very bad quality product from flipkart and its leather is torn at many places and completely different which is being looked at the time of purchase, therefore I have used the return policy to take the refund of my hard earned money but unfortunately wrongly replacement policy has been provided to me.
3. Thereafter, I have many times connected with the flipkart care and asked from them why my order is not being returned and refund my hard-earned money but no one there to resolve my issues and trying to avoid me and just only passing my time.
4. Finally I connected with that person who understood my concern and suggested me to cancel the request and raise the request again to return and refund the request. I have asked from him that because the maximum allowable time to return the product has passed then how can I re-raise request again after cancellation of my current request but he said that no need to worry, because my current request has not been processed, system will allow me to re-raise the return request again and to take the option, I have to wait for one day, then I told him to cancel my current request from your side and he cancelled my current request. I did wait for more than one day but no option has been shown on order. I again connected to flipkart care to resolve my issue but juniors were only passing my time so that I have been went out to avail my policy in between on the longest call with one guy was horrifying me, he was not interested to listen my concern whereas he was repeating only one line and line was “ME SHAMA CHAHTA HU LEKIN BUYER KI TARAF SE REPLACEMENT IS SHOW RAHA HAI” like a IVR.
5. Finally, I connected with a senior person and she understood my concern and raised a return and refund request on 16th Sep 2022. On the next day the technician visited my home and as per process he called flipkart care to confirm what I told about the sofa to return but flipkart care has again denied and canceled the return request being the reason that currently is giving replacement policy.
6. Thereafter, I have raised my concern only with senior care and am still waiting to return the sofa and refund my hard-earned money credited.
Now more than a month has passed but still the situation is the same and I am waiting for the return of the sofa.
I have been mentally harassed through this worst incident ever I have faced with any online shopping.
