Text of Complaint by Yagnik Sojitra:

I got and SMS that your amount of Rs. 100 have been paid to KOMPARIFY, I immediately reported Phonepe Team regarding the issue on the day of transaction itself. The transaction have been done by other person without my permission.

When I informed Phonepe about the issue my account and the device was blocked by phonepe team. Since then I am stuck and not able to do transaction. I have contacted customer support many times but still the are delaying to reply and thereby delaying to give my account back to me. One of the customer executive was so harsh that he replied to me in  a very unprofessional manner.

I understand that the account have been blocked due to the security reasons, however there is something like reasonable time also in which you should give the account back to the customer.

On 5th of October I have called Phonepe customer care and told him to transfer call to the senior executive then the guy told me that I am scheduling a callback and you will get callback by 5PM on that day, sad to say that there has been no call from their side since today (10.10.2017).

I also mailed them regarding the issue and I was told to wait till wait till 10.10.2017, but there is no reply though the day is about to get over.

I hereby demand justice and want my account back, and my 100 Rs. which was in my account before the fraud transaction.

Phonepe is not following the security guidelines laid by RBI to maintain their customer’s account and data privacy. Phonepe is to be penalized for the same. They may be sharing account’s ID and password to third parties hence they are stealing money from customer’s account.

One of my friend’s account have also been compromised like me and a fraudulent transaction of Rs. 400 from his account and the day I raised voice for the security concerns they also did the same with me.
