On 23 November Mona from Learn N Earn contact me asking ” are you interested in work from home “. I say yes and asked about the details and documents. I asked about the job and they send a list of jobs like content writing, servey task, editing work and they said that you can choose any work from list. I send the details and document. Then they asked to complete 2 min registration process. I said that I am in hospital and I couldn’t. Then they call me and force to register at that time itself. Then I register. They take a selfie and ask my name in a registration form. I complete it. After completition of registration they send their course details and some website links to register. But I didn’t. Next next onwards they start to send Google meet link of class. I didn’t attent anyone. After 7 days, that’s on 2nd December, I get a call saying that he is from consumer department and told that Learn N Earn company raise a case against me as I am not paying their course fee of 7099₹. He told me to discuss with the company and to pay the amount to withdraw the case. Then I call to Mona and enquire about tha case. She told me that they firstly give details about the fees and speak harshly to me. They send the agreement and my selfie and a screenshot of a drafted case file in consumer commission. They said that they will send a legal notice and police will come for enquiry and I have to go to Surat for further procedures and It will cost 40,000₹-50,000₹. I ask them to go with the case because you are scamming me by making a fake agreement. Then the man from consumer department call again and ask what is my stand. I told him that I am not ready to pay the amount and going with the case. Then on December 3rd Sunday he again call me and said that notice is issued and get within 24 hours. On December 4 Monday I contact Mona for case number and copy of notice. They again send a screenshot of drafted case file and fake agreement and selfie. Then told that that is the case number and contact police station for the notice. I simply said I contacted them and they have no details of this case. They said that I want to call for them from the police station. I got whatsapp message from another number saying that you can withdraw case by paying the amount and otherwise it will be issued. I told them I going to give case against you by including 3 persons who have to face the same scam from them. They ask me to tell my family members about the issue and come to Surat. They are blackmailing me by asking the money and telling about the legal procedures.
