Dear Makemytrip,
I did a hotel booking with ur esteemed organization for 28.05.2020 but now I want to cancel the booking. But while cancellation, the refund amount has not been transferred to my original mode of payment; infact, my hard earned money is not being returned at all. I had raised the query to your team thrice, but my query has not been resolved till date. As per your team members, MMT is not able to refund the amount as they are short of funds and they are pilling up the funds from the customer refund amount for keeping the cash crunch of the MMT organisation in line,and so they are really sorry for inconvenience caused to me.
I have some points to mention :-
1) As per your cancellation policy, before booking, it is nowhere mentioned that in case of cancellation the amount will not be refunded to the customer, rather the amount will be kept with MMT for there cash crunch purpose.
2) As per your staff (Harleen, Mohit, Manu)” In current scenario it is difficult for us to manage multiple refund alternatives with skeletal staff and hence we request your co-operation in the matter. This means you are refunding the amount to other customers, then why my amount is not refunded back to my original mode of payment.
3) According to which law you are keeping my money with yourself. Can u just let me know under which law income tax or gst, u can hold my amount?
