Refer MMT Booking ID: NH 2519350722270 where in the booking was done with an option for free cancellation (paying extra for that option). Please find the attachement where the committed refund to my Axis bank was 8317 on 19 March 2020. The amount received is Rs. 428.41 only (which is only 5% of the committeed refund amount. Up on enquiry the customer executive informed me that the amount can be provided as wallet money and not as refund to the bank because of their management decision taken on 17 April 2020.
I have problem with 2 more bookings as well – Booking IDs are:
NH2521750651946 and NH2517650538360
Summary: In all the above cancellations, only 5% of MMT committed refund received in my bank address. Unless I had checked the bank account, I would have lost that amount as there was no intimation regarding this from MMT. Even today, i have not received it.
Today they said they cannot cash reund the amount to my account. They are offering refund to MMT Wallet. Note that the wallet can be used only in Make My Trip site where the prices are governed by their internal policies which restricts my freedom to choose and book hotels of my choice.
I expect an early intervention and a fair resolution to the mentioned issue. Thank you.
