Text of Complaint by Sreeja Sriram:

Lost 8100/- from paytm wallet on 16th July 2020. No instances of me sharing my password or the otp. Still lost the money from my paytm wallet suddenly.

Money was transferred to some anonymous contact. Guess it’s some kind of data breech on paytm’s end or what so ever. Compliant was filed by me on the very same day like in an hour againt that Fradulent Transaction.

After 2 days i.e., today 18th July 2020, received a reply from paytm care saying that the amount was already consumed by the fraudster hence we cannot refund you the amount.

This is too disheartening and worse on their part. That money is my hardwork earned with sweat and pain. How can they just say that they can’t deal with the complaint or provide a solution or compensate me. Is this the support they provide to the trust we have on them?

Escalated the Issue (complaint) to the Nodal Officer of paytm . But by the way the paytm care replied to me I have no hope that they would find a solution to my issue.

Hence filing the complaint in consumer complaints court with a little hope.
