Subject: Complaint Regarding Online Fraud and Threats – Urgent Assistance Required

Respected Sir/Madam,
I, Mahesh Perupally, am writing this letter to bring to your attention a grave incident of online fraud that I have fallen victim to, along with subsequent threats and harassment. I sincerely request your urgent intervention to address this matter and bring the culprits to justice.
On 19.01.2024, I was approached by an individual through a mobile application, which later turned out to be fraudulent. The person, whose identity I am yet to ascertain, promised a loan amount and convinced me to install certain applications on my mobile device. However, upon disbursal of the loan, I discovered that the actual amount received was significantly lower than what was initially promised.
Upon realizing the discrepancy, I immediately communicated my unwillingness to accept the loan and returned the received amount to the individual’s personal number, as instructed. Subsequently, the individual ceased all communication with me. However, to my dismay, the mobile applications installed on my device, at the suggestion of the fraudster, now show that I am in default and demand repayment of an amount I never received.
Furthermore, the fraudster now possesses private data pertaining to me and my relatives through the installed applications. I am being threatened with the disclosure of this sensitive information to my relatives, which amounts to harassment.
In light of the above, I kindly request you to investigate this matter and take appropriate legal action against the individuals involved in perpetrating this online fraud. I have attached relevant screenshots and documentation for your perusal, and I am more than willing to provide any additional information required to aid your investigation.
