I had booked interior design with Livspace in June 2022 paying an advance of Rs 15000/-. We seeked their services when we were still 6 months away from handover of home. However, we did not avail their services as we found a cheaper alternative. From Nov 2022 I am asking for refund and they are denying.
Initially they said we will provide some appliances instead of Rs 15000/-. Then after a couple of weeks they came back telling I need to purchase items worth 1 lakh and then they will give Rs 15000/- discount in that.
I said no to the offer and seeked refund or appliances worth Rs 15k only. Now they are telling any booking cancelled within 48 hours of booking is eligible for refund as per policy. How can i cancel my booking in 48 hours when my handover is 6 months away. Their designers clearly knew about this timeframe and never mentioned about these policies. Now customer care claims they sent in email which I never saw.
Now the customer care is also rude and the contact person doesnt respond any calls. His name is Fariz Mohamed from JP nagar branch in Bangalore.
I request you to please look into it and get my refund of Rs 15000/-.
