Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally file a consumer complaint against Amazon India with regard to serious grievances involving non-delivery of a confirmed order, deliberate delay tactics, and unfair trade practices during the Amazon Prime Day Sale.

Summary of Grievance:
I placed an order with Amazon India on 12th July 2025 during their Prime Day Sale, and while one minor item was delivered, the main, high-value product (ordered via credit card) was not delivered as promised. Though the product was marked as dispatched and the delivery date was clearly stated as 12th July 2025, the item was delayed repeatedly. For five consecutive days, the order status showed “Out for Delivery,” only to be postponed each evening without delivery.
This caused me significant mental distress, as I had to cancel important engagements just to remain available at the delivery address. I also contacted Amazon’s customer service daily, only to receive repeated false assurances.
I even sent my representative to the Amazon Delivery Office in Udyog Vihar, where he contacted Mr. Dinesh (Manager, Contact: +91 8707380617), who confirmed that the product was in the warehouse and would be delivered the next day. However, the delivery did not happen. Eventually, on 18th July 2025, I was informed that the product was returned without my consent, and a refund was initiated, which takes 10–15 days—delaying the financial reversal unnecessarily.
This reflects a clear case of:
Negligence in service
Harassment of the customer
Deliberate misrepresentation and delay
Unfair and deceptive trade practice
I have also verified the seller’s poor ratings on the Amazon platform, which shows a pattern of similar complaints by other customers. It is concerning that Amazon continues to allow such sellers to operate, enabling systemic exploitation of customers.
Request for Legal Relief:
I respectfully request the Hon’ble Court to:
Direct Amazon India to issue a formal explanation for this failure in service.
Award compensation for the mental agony, harassment, loss of time, and financial inconvenience caused.
Take regulatory or legal action against the seller, Darshita Aashiyana Pvt Ltd, and investigate possible collusion with logistics services.
Instruct Amazon India to put in place stringent seller compliance mechanisms and ensure accountability during promotional sales events.
