Text of Complaint by Chandra sekhar:

I have booked a car for 2 days, on 2nd day I needed one more day extension and tried applying on APP and it showed me around 4400 approx with extra 400 plus Kms, but it didn’t get processed. Zoomcar called me but due to signal fluctuations because of CYCloan NIVAR, I couldn’t reach them and we were evacuating the affected places.

One of the fleet members from where I took the car called on my phone and informed me that he will provide an extension as I needed it. He said he will update on APP and I can make payment. I IMMEDIATELY INFORMED HIM THAT I DON’t HAVE SIGNALS HERE AND I WILL MAKE PAYMENT ONCE I GET SIGNALS

on the 3rd day night at 11 PM, I came to drop point and dropped the car but the fleet started talking with me and made me call customer care more than 10 times and make me stand there while they sit in their cars for 2 hours.

fleet guy first updated the wrong kilometers and showed 42000 as due and I said wrong KMS updated, then he changed and said 32000. he then asked me to call the Customer care team and inform them about the wrong charges. Then the customer care team removed the late fee and late charges and then the final amount was 13990.

I waited there for 2 hours as I cannot pay 13990 which was not legal. I again told them that it is not valid as the fleet called me and the extension did not happen on APP.

if the extension happened on APP, I would have applied for 4400 instead of 13990 only. Fleet guy Srikanth and Mustafa didn’t listen to me at all and they were started saying are we looking like fools and all. They also said that i have caused inconvenience while taking the vehicle as one of the allotted vehicles was not in good condition and I called customer care to change the vehicle to another and this caused them some bad reputation and they are seeking revenge.

I had to pay 6140 rupees to the FLEET PERSON SRIKANTH on his number virtually and then he asked me to send the remaining amount soon to him only.

Please look into this as this is not right and I only have to pay 4400 which is shown but villages are affected due to NIVAR and I couldn’t receive signals well and I told the fleet to provide an extension but they did as an unapproved extension which caused me this huge amount.

I also seek justice for keeping me waiting for 3 hours at their place standing without any option.

The fleet never informed me to take screenshots but I took one, now they say that it is not the right screenshot and we can’t accept it.

I also returned the vehicle with 4 points higher fuel than what I was given with and I have to be compensated for the same.
