I am a PRIME holder customer of AMAZON. I have placed order # 404-9894195-9157917 for 4 items (1 dog food, 2 body care products and 1 ray-ban sunglass which is a gift) on 9th March, 2023 and the delivery date was shown 19th-20th March.
Till today (17th March) except for the sunglass (which is prime full-filled), the products have not been dispatched. For the sunglass, without prior intimation the date of arrival changed from 20th March to 23rd march. Till 15th March, I followed up with customer care 5 times if the delivery will be made on time since its a gift (also requested them to ship the remaining 3 products if this 1 item is out of stock and update me on the same by connecting with technical team who looks after the shipments). I was promised that it will be delivered on time and need not worry and was asked to wait till 17th March.
After I saw the change in delivery date, I raised this concern with the customer team that fake promises were made. During my previous conversations 1 customer executive said all the products will be sent in 1 shipment and dispatch will happen by 17th march as all the products are amazon full-filled. Today, on 17th March when i had a word with another executive over chat, he mentioned sunglass is seller full-filled (incorrect information provided) and will arrive in different shipments.
So I had a call with escalation matrix team. The lady was very unprofessional, contradicting herself said, if the issue is valid compensation will be provided. I sent her screenshots of the change in dates and asked her if its a valid issue. She answered YES its valid issue and said no compensation will be provided and disconnected the call.
Even after waiting for 8-11 days a customer had to get harassed for products which are common in the market and can be made available easily. It is sad to see that even PRIME membership customers have to deal with such unprofessionals who does not have knowledge, false information and promises delivered to the customers. Prime membership costs a charge yearly which is almost 2000 a year.
Even if its company’s mistake, no actions taken and no compensation provided. Being a customer, no update is provided nor prior intimation is given to choose whether he/ she is OK with the date change.
So I request to look into this matter and take actions against company so that no other customer have to undergo this trouble. We do not pay for membership yearly to face such harassment.
