I bought ” Acer Predator Neo (2023) Core i7 13th Gen 13700HX – (16 GB/1 TB SSD/Windows 11 Home/6 GB Graphics/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050) PHN16-71-757P Gaming Laptop ” on October 7, 2023. After 3 months of use from january laat week it started having trouble with the charging so i contacted acer customer support they told me to perform some steps but the issue wasn’t fixed. They sent an engineer to check my laptop and after checking the charger and laptop he told me that motherboard is the issue and it will be replaced. He also gave me contact number to connect with the service center and ask about any query regarding the replacement that will be provided. When i contacted them they told me the replacement part can be new or refurbished. My laptop is pretty new and to be very honest it is expensive too. Getting a refurbished part for a laptop this new is not justified for me. I even asked the store if they can only replace the DC adapter but they told me it won’t happen and motherboard will be replaced in the same case too. I complained on Twitter and they told me that my issue has been escalated but nothing has been done. My laptop was diagnosed on 2nd feb and it’s almost a month since this issue has arised. I asked them to provide me with the refund and take the laptop back but they told me it’s a hassle from my side as i am not waiting enough. Seriously I don’t get how acer has motherboard for new 500 laptops but not for a replacement. I just want my full refund. Also for anyone reading this
DON’T BUY ACER GAMING LAPTOPS THEY HAVE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND YOU WILL ACTUALLY CRY OUT FOR HELP AND NOTHING WILL HAPPEN.
