I had utilized Kotak Credit card which I have since 4 years and because of my health issues I was unable to make minimum payment for 2 months or any. My husband talked to Kotak representative and explained an issue of financial crisis I was facing in the month of June 2021. He offered one option which will not affect my credit score i.e.Payment through Reversal Letter.
I asked him to share a letter by email from official email ID i.e. Kotak Bank. He shared a letter through rajkumar.arya@kotak.com. I read it and my due amount was differentiated in 2 parts , one amounting Rs. 15900/- dated 20-07-2021 & Rs. 15900/- dated 20-08-2021. It was even confirmed by that person that even if I pay an amount in parts in that month, even that is ok.
I paid both amount on Kotak’s credit card payment link accordingly and shared screenshot of those payments made. And when I made last payment I asked for closure letter from that person, he said you will receive by 3rd Sept 2021 anyhow on your email ID. I waited for the same and still not received. I again started receiving calls from Kotak collections and bank. I used to tell them whole story and shared all evident of payment made. But whenever I used to submit payment screenshots and letter, noone use to call me for further follow up.
and this made my credit score down and down again. Because of laziness of these people, since they didnt update my payment status in my records available in their systems I am sufferring from lot of mental stress. This is complete harassment of this Kotak Mahindra Bank.
I am a mother of a year old child and I dont get much time to go out to reach out these ppl.
I want a closure on this as soon as possible and i dont know how to get it. Please help me
