Having enrolled with Shine.com to look for suitable job opportunities, I received a call from the front office of ‘Professionsfy Group’ on 20th May 2023 assuring me job interviews with three reputed multinational companies within 48-72 hours of my payment of a one-time registration of Rs 4199.

After my payment of this registration fee (Rs. 4199) on 22nd May 2023, Mr. Vinay Aggarwal (Group HR Head) of Professionsfy started interacting with me almost daily through his email (hr@professionsfy.com) and mobile phone (8052296917)

Mr. Aggarwal scheduled my first Skype interview for a senior management position with a multinational company for 24th May 2023, which rescheduled later for 25th May 2023. Since the interviewer’s video was not available on 25th May 2023 when the first Skype interview call was received form him, the interview was re-scheduled again for 27th May 2023. Thereafter, it was informed to me by Mr. Aggarwal that initial interviews would be conducted through Skype audio only.

Before ending my first Skype audio interview of 27th May 2023, the interviewer offered me a very attractive package and also scheduled a final face-to-face interview for 7th June 2023. Since it was only an audio interview, I could not check and verify the real identify of the interviewer.

Immediately after this first Skype audio interview, Mr. Aggarwal asked me to pay additional fees of Rs 15,650 and Rs. 28,999, as refundable amounts, for my job code activation and profile verification. Since he assured, through his e-mail and phone call, to refund these additional payments (Rs 15,650 and Rs 28,999) within few days, I accepted his request and paid these amounts on the same day (i.e., 27th May 2023).

On the same day (27th May 2023), Mr. Aggarwal took my documents (e.g., educational certificates, last employment contract & compensation package, Aadhar card & photo etc.) for verification by the interviewer’s company and reported ‘Green’ status by 31st May 2023.

Thereafter, Mr. Aggarwal arranged another Skype audio interview with the same interviewer on 5th June 2023 on the pretext that the employer wanted to clarify my job profile, role and package etc. before the final face-to-face interview of 7th June 2023.

During this 2nd Skype audio interaction of 5th June 2023, the interviewer increased his compensation-package offer for me on his own (without any negotiation from my side). Immediately thereafter, Mr. Aggarwal also surprised me with his demand for further refundable amounts (Rs. 11,999 and Rs 10,000) for my profile confirmation. Further, when
I asked him to refund my earlier payments (Rs. 15,650 and Rs. 28,999) before expecting any new payment, he stopped all communications with me.

Since this created suspicion in mind, I contacted the HR head of the employer, for whom the audio interviews were arranged by Mr Aggarwal, for verification. When this employer confirmed to me that they did not conduct any interviews for me on the said dates (27th May 2023 & 5th June 2023), it proved fakeness of all interviews arranged for me by Mr Aggarwal of Professionsfy Group.
