Text of Complaint by Sheikh Abdul Khayyum:

I had done an yearly recharge in April’ 22. In Sep, I wanted to suspend my connection for 3 months and resume it.

Jio support informed me that they don’t support ‘Suspend and resume’. I asked them what options were there, they suggested that I cancel the connection. They never informed me that there would be no refund of the outstanding balance in my account. They deliberately misguided me into cancelling my subscription.

Now they are refusing to both restore my account, or refund my money. I asked them to open a complaint on the call centre, but to no avail.

We expect more transparency and customer friendliness from a company as big as Reliance.
