Text of Complaint by Nataraj T C:

Hi Team,

 

I was sold Jio fiber postpaid plan 150 mbps and have paid rupees 7,072.92

on 01-Jul-2021. I have been told by the sales representative that I will get 2 months

extra validity on this 999/month postpaid plan and a free set top box without paying anything extra.

 

Activated postpaid plan without explaining me or bringing to my notice.

 

But this is not the case I came to know later after payment I need to make an additional security deposit of rupees 1,000 to buy set top box.

 

 

The sales representative Mr. Abu said that I will get one extra month validity from company side plus

Additional one month as my neighbour referred me for this connection and

deliberately forced me to get this connection extracting money.

 

Also explained me that he will get refund for the 3 months rentals in case if I cancel my subscription which is again false which I got to know later after enquiring customer care.

 

Also, he told relocation charges are free if I move to Bangalore but it’s is not when I checked after paying money.

 

They made wrong promises and not explaining plans correctly and forced me to buy the plan by duping me.

 

I cannot see any such benefit in my account as vouchers or anywhere.

 

But they have got payment in advance for all 6 months.

 

I have also contacted them multiple times but no resolution.

They, infact opened a service request SR000015LJTJ and closed without my notice as if it is resolved. This was raised based on the discussion I had with jio team about this issue on my grievance.

 

Thanks to address this at the earliest.

 

Kindly help me to get refund for my amount as soon as possible.

I do not need their service like this.

This will not

meet my requirement.

 

I can further produce necessary legally permissible evidence on this.
