Jio Recharge – Not getting Hotstar subscription

Text of Complaint by Dushyant Kumar Bhardwaj:

I have recently made a jio recharge which contains hotstar subscription too. To get the hotstar subscription, I paid extra money and purchase the plan in advance.

When this plan gets activated, I didn’t get hotstar subscription.

I raised a complaint with Jio, but got a response that ->
– the recharge was done more than 28 days before the VIP subscription expiry date which does not qualify for subscription renewal.
– also, they are asking to recharge again to get the hotstar subscription.

The condition of 28 days is nowhere mentioned in Jio terms and conditions. I have asked the respective team if they can show me this condition, but they were unable to do this.

In case, if they are not providing me the hotstar subscription, then they should return me the extra money which I paid for this.

Since jio asked customers to recharge well in advance, they should also point out all the terms and conditions. It might be possible that similar to Me, some other people had also done recharge in advance, and their money is also now wasted.

The bad thing is that they are not providing the solution. Instead, they are asking me to recharge again.
