Text of Complaint by Karan Sharma:

I want to share my horrible experience with Jio Giga Fiber Internet, I got a call on March 22nd 2019 and got lured by their plan of Rs 4500/- one time charge(refundable security), in which i will be given 1100 GB/month and for next 9 months i will not be charged. I agreed to buy this plan and on monday i.e. March 25th 2019, couple of persons representing JIO team came to my house and took the payment via digital card swipe and copy of my Aadhaar card ID. They told me with 48-72 hrs, connection will be installed. After 10 days no progress was made, moreover no follow up on this was provided to me. The number from which i received the call stopped responding to my calls. Number is : 8826291833. I called customer care several times and they came up with same excuse every time, some technical issue is going on. So out of frustration, i had to request for cancellation and as per their refund policy, i would be getting it in next 60 days via demand draft / cheque, but till today i haven’t received my cheque. I called customer care in regard to this several times and they are not providing me relevant information. Now i am very much fed-up with this and don’t know whom to reach out so that my issue gets resolved !

  1. I have the similar experience. No one came to install even after 90 days and calls are never picked up. So went ahead with cancellation. Now even after 25 days, I have an email and SMS about the conformation on cancellation, but no refund. When I had sent the email, they respond with “Call the Jiofree tollfee” but wait-wait-wait for 1 hour, no one answers. I think people like me with no free time cant keep tracking it. May be this is how Reliance shows profit. Will file a complaint soon [give them 30 days]
