Hello,
I was very happy when I found out that Jio Airfiber services are available in our area. I immediately showed my interest in the same and paid Rs 100/- on 21st Sept 2023. Then after a gap of launching these services, on 11th Nov 2023 I got a call from Jio Airfiber to complete the documentation and payment as per our selected plan. I reconfirmed that Jio Airfiber is feasible in my apartment and based on the discussion with the Jio executive Mr Ravi I booked the connection and paid Rs 12729.84/- (Plan 899 + GST for 100 Mbps speed + other standard offerings by Jio Airfiber). Later my installation was planned on 16th Nov 2023. Around 10 am on 16th Nov Installation person (Mr Ravi + 1) came started installation. They completed installation around 2 pm they have get some materials which took time. Installation person told me that it is completed and our services would start in 1 hours time and asked to share the OTP for successful installation. We trusted him and shared the OTP. He did say if there is any problem he would come back and as there was a signal problem, he came along with Team Leader Mr Babu. Again they tried to fix the problem and Mr Babu started communicating with Team Manager and others from Jio Airfiber team. Later around the 6 PM Team Leader Mr Babu gave a shocking update and said Jio Airfiber is not feasible in my apartment. He asked for a one day time to verify. When I called him on 17th Nov 2023 around 2 PM he reconfirmed the same and he said I should not worry about and Jio will refund the entire amount. He suggested that I should call Jio Airfiber customers care number and lodge the complaint and share the complaint number with him mentioning the same reason. We did it and we got a complaint number MR000183U5KK. Jio executive said that it will be resolved in 4 hours. After 4 hours when we didn’t receive any calls we called again and they told there were some technical issue but promised us that it will be resolved in another 4 hours of time. Then again we did not receive any kind of communication from Jio Airfiber team we called on 18th November 2023 morning. Now we got another shock when Jio Airfiber executive told that there is no refund policy and I explained that all the above and she told to discuss with Team Leader Mr Babu. I did the same and he promised me that he internally initiated the process and in one week I should get my amount back or else he even said that if there is any kind of problem he will pay personally from his account. I am believing that what he said Jio Airfiber will understand and refund the amount. I am writing this Email for Jio Airfiber team to understand and take necessary steps for quick refund of the amount and oblige.
