Text of Complaint by Piyush Paras Tiwari:

I am writing to file a complaint against Jeeves Consumer Services Pvt. Ltd. for their fraudulent and dishonest mobile insurance practices.

I had purchased mobile insurance from Jeeves Consumer Services Pvt. Ltd. through Flipkart for my phone. Unfortunately, my mobile encountered damage and I filed a claim with Jeeves Consumer Services Pvt. Ltd. for the same. To my shock and dismay, Jeeves Consumer Services Pvt. Ltd. not only denied my claim but also damaged my phone further and lied about the cause of damage. They falsely claimed that the damage was caused due to water damage, when in reality it was only a screen damage.

I attempted to contact their customer support multiple times to resolve the issue, but instead of providing any assistance, they demanded an advance payment of Rs 1000 for the resolution and threatened to not assist me further if I did not comply. This is not only unprofessional but also a clear example of blackmail. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of support and the fraudulent practices of Jeeves Consumer Services Pvt. Ltd.

I believe that Jeeves Consumer Services Pvt. Ltd. has engaged in fraudulent and dishonest practices by denying my legitimate claim and damaging my phone further. I am therefore seeking justice through this consumer court and request that appropriate action be taken against Jeeves Consumer Services Pvt. Ltd. for their malpractices.
