Channel number 1520 Jaya TV is not available to subscribe in Tata sky. Also, as per the broadcaster pack “Jaya Bouquet 1”, there are 4 channels part of the pack(Jaya TV, J Movies, Jaya Max and Jaya Plus) at cost 12.39 including GST. Tata sky provides only 3 channels (Jaya movies, max and plus and not Jaya tv (at Channel no:1520)) but still they charges for 12.39. I do not understand what is wrong with Tata sky.
The hard part is the channel Jaya tv is not removed and it is still viewable in channel number 1520. but there is no way to subscribe the channel 🙁
It is not applies only for Jaya Tv but for all the following channels. It will be good if any action will be taken from tatasky end for the channels will be available for the customers.

you are absolutely wrong. jaya tv is still available for viewing even in tata sky for those who are yet to migrate to new pack. there is some mistake in tata sky. pl check and resolve at the earliest.
IT IS WRONG TO SAY THAT JAYA TV IS NO LONGER PROVIDED BY THE BROADCASTER.. IT IS VIEWABLE EVEN TODAY IN TATA SKY BY THOSE WHO HAVE NOT MIGRATED TO NEW PACK.
HENCE PL DO NOT GIVE LAME EXCUSE AND CORRECT YR MISTAKE IMMEDIATELY.

Is there any update to this issue ? First complaint was raised on Feb 13th and it’s Mar 3rd and the problem still exists. Jaya TV is one of the most important Tamil channels.
Tata Sky, we expect better turn around time from you wrt complaints raised by customers.

Jaya TV is one of the most important Tamil Channels and the channel is viewed for its all-round viewer centric programmes. Hence, it is imperative that Jaya is part of Tamil Channels. Repeated interactions with Tata Sky officials are not yielding any tangible results. The final option is to raise a complaint to TRAI.
Please add jaya tv in my tata sky

hello customer care please note that Java tv is needed to all tamilians. you should broadcast that channel immediately or we will have to take tata sky and replace other dish which gives jaya tv.
Cookery show in Jaya TV is so good and Tata Sky by not airing the same is frustrating the viewers. Please do the needful by including Jaya TV.

It is a pity that Jaya TV (1520) is not available in Tatasky after migrating to the new pack yesterday. Is there any one listening to consumer’s woes. We have the power to teach you a lesson. Do not test our patience.
JAYA TV channel 1520 in TATA SKY was available till migration. On migration it is not available. On checking with TATA SKY they say the broadcaster has stopped broadcasting this channel. This appears to be a rubbish. While three other Jaya TV channels are broadcasted how come the main JAYA TV channel be stopped by the broadcaster. There something wrong with TATA SKY.
Totally agree with KR Radhakrishnan’s post. Jaya TV is very much being broadcast. I had a migrate yesterday and now lost Jaya TV. Interestingly checked with Hathway and they also do not have Jaya TV in this line up. So this could be a problem between Jaya and all carriers. Nonetheless, an important channel, should be part of Tamil Regional Pack in Tata Sky and request a proper response from TATA Sky and/or Jaya TV
Jaya TV is main TV channel for Tamil peoples. I request tata sky please add jaya TV 1520.I am chat with tata sky But they said jaya TV is not in SD format. Only avilable in hd format.broadcaster launches the new channel in SD format immediately we added this channel.Please solve this problem immediately

On contacting the customer care simply they are answering that the channel has ended it’s broadcasting .. unbelievable
Spoke to Tatasky representative on phone. I told that Jaya TV is an important channel and how can you just discontinue it with asking the customer. He said Jaya TV has been discontinued for breach of contract. I don’t know what exactly he means.
I am going to close my tata sky account, throw away the box. I think most people who do not find this removal reasonable should quit Tata sky.
If Jaya TV is not included, will migrate to some other DTH. DO decide soon Tata Sky…
Started getting Jaya TV HD on channel no:1519 on Tatasky from today. Thank you.
Earlier on, TATA SKY was providing Jaya TV as HD channel even for SD subscribers probably there being some technical glitch to provide SD .On migration they are silent about SD subscribers.Mr. Pravin says he gets Jaya on HD.Help Desk explanations are murky.One other high handedness of TATA SKY is closing all LONG DURATION PACKS and converting them to Monthly according to their whimsical choice to earn extra money as its continuance will be losing proposition as per present tariff regime.This has been done in utter violation of TRAI directive not to tamper LDP till its validity.Is it not a violation of contract?It is” Hell with you” attitude towards TRAI and hapless consumer In short there is no transparency and ethics with TATASKY for the name and reputation it carries LET US WAIT AND WATCH WHETHER TRAI will play its role
Prior to TRAI regulations Jaya TV was available as HD even for SD subscribers.Tata Sky probably has some technical glitch in telecasting SD.TATA SKY never shows transparency in operation despite the name they carry.One other aspect is unilaterally closing all LONG DURATION PACK despite TRAI directive to allow it to run its course till its validity.Nothing but “HELL WITH YOU ATTITUDE ” towards TRAI and hapless customers. Can a reputed corporate flout a contract which has legai standing that too in utter defiance of a controlling entity.Let us wait and see whether TRAI will step in
