Hi,
I am filing a complain about another number taken on my name and on my plan.
I have am using Vodafone postpaid from many years with no issues and I am always a regular bill payer.
My brother’s friend took another number by using my identity (Pan Card) on my existing plan with Vodafone without my knowledge.
Post receiving the huge bill on month of Nov or Dec or then I was informed that the another number has been taken on my existing plan.
He requested that he will be using the number for just for two or three months so I agreed. Post that on the month of February I requested Vodafone customer service to deactivate the another number so I was assured that the another number will be going to deactivate however it was not done.
I am following up with the Vodafone customer service every month but they are not deactivating the another number and sending the bills for the both numbers every month.
I cannot afford the bills for both the numbers as I am jobless now and also customer service asks me to visit Vodafone store on this Covid 19 situation. No Vodafone store is nearer or opened at this time.
I am very disappointed with Vodafone Customer service as they are rude sometimes or places the calls on long hold and every month they assure me for deactivating or separating the another number but next month again receive the bill for both the number.
I am primary holder of my number 9891656496 but they don’t listen to me sometimes and instead cross question me that why I allowed the another user to use my pan card to add another number ( 9654448844) on my existing plan.
I am done discussing, talking or arguing with Vodafone customer service. I can not change my number because this number is linked with my bank, Adhara card, with my PF account and other important things.
At this situation I am unable to visit the government offices physically to change the information.
I request you to provide the permanent solution for the same by understanding my situation.
Regards
