My Aadhaar-linked IRCTC account has been hacked. My email ID and mobile number were changed without my consent. I never received any OTP or notification about these changes. When I contacted IRCTC, they said they couldn’t do anything and asked me to approach the cyber cell.
But it’s actually a simple process—they could re-verify Aadhaar and check if the change was made without the user’s consent. Yet, they don’t even try to help people. I strongly believe there was a recent large-scale data breach at IRCTC.
