Amazon had a sale on 6th and 7th July 2020, they priced the product at Rs 65,500. The delivery guy came to deliver and asked for a 4 digit pin, I was only provided a 6 digit OTP from Amazon, despite numerous calls to the customer care, they couldn’t help and cancelled the order. The order was tagged ‘cancelled’, now they were asking me to place a fresh order, the product is now priced at Rs 68,900. The superiors told me the delivery will be attempted within 24 hours but it wasn’t yet again. I had a talk with the leadership in customer care 4 times, out of which thrice they told me the product will be delivered, within 24 hours as the package is still at the courier station (I have all the call recordings as well) and the last one (which I called most recently) told me that I will not get the product and I should wait for the next sale for the price to drop down and they cannot arrange a replacement.
Even though there is not even one mistake from my side I am at a total loss, the order was pre-paid, they have all my money as no return was generated – yet.
They have been snatching off the convenience , as from yesterday I have been constantly calling them with no proper response. I had to leave my important work and keep on trying to call them when the delivery guy was here, but there was no proper response from their end.
They accepted that the mistake was from their side and yet they cannot do anything about it.
They are literally robbing me of the extra money and asking me to pay extra for an order that was on discount.
